Volvo Ocean Race: Life At The Extreme
The Volvo Ocean Race, a yacht race around the world held every three years, is on route to Cochin, India, the second of ten stops in the race.
The race covers around 39, 000 nautical miles taking over nine months to complete the journey. Eight teams battle it out to be the first to reach the final destination, St. Petersburg, Russia.
On June 27, 2009, the race is expected to attract a global TV audience of 2 billion viewers as it comes to its conclusion.
