The Andaz Wall Street, New York
Hyatt’s excursion into the boutique hotel market shows no sign of abating with the latest incarnation of the popular Andaz name popping-up in New York’s busy financial district, Wall Street. These little hideaways are sprinkled around the map in the most opportune of places.
The Andaz experiment made its debut in London in 2007, then the Andaz West Hollywood sprouted in place of the infamous Riot House, and starting this month, Andaz Wall Street will continue to carry the promising torch.
The cornerstone of any Andaz hotel is premium quality service and the Wall Street edition should fare no different. Upon entrance, a hospitable host and welcoming drinks greet the customer.
If the Andaz West Hollywood is anything to go by, prepare to check yourself in via a computer screen, which is only the first taste of this very modern and tech-savvy operation.
A varied assortment of rooms are available, all of them designed under the guidance of the award-winning Rockwell group. Expect iPod stations, LCD TV’s, free Wifi, and great views of the frenzied Manhattan lifestyle.
Designed with sleekness and elegance in mind, the oak floors, accented walls, and handcrafted metalwork are original works made in New York.
The coup-de-grace of the Andaz Wall Street is the impressive Andaz Studio, the meeting and focal point of the hotel. Ideal for the Wall Street brokers and executives that populate the area, the Andaz Studio is made up of various personalized meeting rooms which surround a communal dining area, where the Andaz chefs will interact with the guests while stirring up some seasonal cuisine.
The Studio’s promise to symbolize exactly what the Andaz stands for and what every modern executive needs in this day and age: state-of-the-art-audiovisual technology, stylized design, and a level of atmosphere that’ll put any strenuous meeting at ease.
