Cruising On in 2010!

The economic crisis that has swept markets across the world has hit the tourism industry hard. The one exception to that trend however comes to the surprising and majestic world of mega cruise ships.

More new cruise ships will debut in 2010 than in 2009. Among one of the more impressive debutants this July will be the newest and largest addition to the Norwegian Cruise Line, the fittingly named Epic. The Epic will be a pioneer in the industry, offering completely unrivalled services.

It will feature a grand outdoor aqua park, and house the largest private villa complex, with each respective villa reachable only by private elevators. The opulent spa includes acupuncture as well as Botox treatment. And on the cutting-edge, the Epic will also be home to the first seafaring ICEBAR!

Other floating giants ready to debut will be the glamorous remake of the classic Queen Elisabeth, which will invoke the art deco decadence of the 1930’s where the Queen Grill Suite will include a butler. The Azura offers within its pristine walls a giant alfresco cinema and a Michelin-star restaurant by chef Atul Kochhar.

There is much more to come in 2010 from the deluxe world of superliners. Opportunities will be plentiful. Just imagine being pampered under the glistening summer sun en route around the Caribbean, amid azure skies and immaculate turquoise waters.
