Louis Vuitton & Stephen Sprouse Collection

This January, Louis Vuitton will release its latest collection of Stephen Sprouse inspired pieces. The two have teamed up again, after a successful run nearly eight years ago, to produce a new line of bags, footwear, clothing, glasses, and other accessories. Be prepared for a graffiti extravaganza.

2009 is shaping up to be a Stephen Sprouse year. Along with its products, Louis Vuitton will launch www.welovesprouse.com, a website dedicated to Sprouse’s work.

The artist will also have his work displayed at the Deitch Projects, in New York, from January 9 to February 28, 2009. The display will be a retrospective exhibition of “Sprouse’s rock and roll futuristic vision.” He will also see the release of his new book entitled “The Stephen Sprouse Book,” by Mauricio and Roger Padilha.

Will 2009 translate into a year of “uptown sophistication in [art and] clothing with a downtown punk and pop sensibility[?]” We can’t wait to see what’s in store.
