Café Campana, Paris

The Musée d’Orsay has recently reopened its Café Campana after an intensive renovation period. Designed by Alberto and Fernando Campana, two renowned Brazilian brothers from São Paulo, the Café has been transformed into a calmer, more tranquil atmosphere of marine life and aquatic tones.

Inspired by Émile Gallé, an essential figure in the French Art Nouveau movement, the Café is a tribute to the Art Nouveau period of the late 1800’s.

The food is an appropriate classic menu of a Parisian brasserie. Click HERE for the full menu.

The Campana brothers meticulously designed the space with orange wire screens and gold laser-cut lampshades resembling bells, funny considering their last name “Campana” means bell in Spanish.

The table separators are reminiscent of Gallé’s multi-layered blown crystal vases of lilies and daises. The Café is located on 62, rue de Lille, Paris.
