Never Young Again by Germinal Roaux‏

For the past three years the Swiss-French artist Germinal Roaux has been traveling the world capturing the imagines of teenagers siphoning between adolescence to adulthood. His work, entitled “Never Young Again,” is published on his site as a monthly diary detailing this always awkward and sometimes unnerving transitional phase.

Through his lens, one can interpret a certain sadness and nostalgia for the innocence and carelessness that will soon be lost as adulthood rapidly creeps around. The images are a reminder, both to the young and the not so young, that life is always on a steady movement demanding your evolution as a human being. Each part of this path is simply a portion of you that ultimately accumulates into the whole picture.

A book of Roaux’s work is currently scheduled for 2010, but to see more of his photos visit his website on www.germinalroaux.com.
