Bharti Kher, Paris

Art pieces by Bharti Kher, who is best known for using manufactured versions of traditional Indian bindi to decorate cast sculptures, will be on display at the Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin in Paris.

The exhibition begins on October 21st and goes through January 10th, 2009.

Kher, who was born in London, is based in New Delhi. Her work reflects her identification with modern-day consumer culture, race and gender.
