“American Buffalo”

David Mamet’s new production of the play “American Buffalo” is set to open this November 17th at the Belasco Theater, in New York.

Originally performed in Chicago in 1975, the first performance of the play went to Broadway two years later, where it was received with favorable reviews

In “American Buffalo” Mamet explores the conflicting relationship between business and friendship. He looks at the constant struggle dividing a person’s ethics with the desire to succeed in a society that measures achievements through material gains and the ‘good life’ according to a capitalist system.

The comedians Cedric the Entertainer and John Leguizamo will star is Mamet’s new production along with Haley Joel Osment. Expect plenty of humorous moments.
